The first three pics in this post were taken last Sunday afternoon in Bergen, North Holland. We decided to go for a walk in the green woods around Bergen - and found it pretty dry ! Almost a desert landscape, lots of dunes and black vegetation. Yesterday (Thursday) I have heard about fires in the area. Reading the Dutch newspapers today I have learnt that fire and smoke will last up to Saturday (tomorrow). Sad.
Holland has very kept children's farms (kinderboerderijen) and animal parks as well. Everytime we visit Bergen we pass by this rounded animal garden nearby the parking area. Black swans, ducks, rendeers, sheeps, cows...

Many of which start to move into the fence direction in order to get some bread from the passers-by.
New spring arrival: I think this little lamb is a couple of days old !!
