This weekend from 2nd to the 4th October more than 80 artists with be participating in the Open Ateliers De Pijp. There is a very broad range of art on offer: from traditional to ultramodern, from paintings to sculpture, from jewellery to photography, from woodwork to fashion. De Centrale Expositie is in the Cultuurhuis Diamantslijperij (Tolstraat 129) from noon to 6pm. Admission is free. www.openateliersdepijp.nl
Marcella Madeira's work (see previous post) can be admired at "Buurtcentrum De Pijp", 2e v.d. Helststraat 66, in Amsterdam. I will be there on Sunday afternoon with my family to give Marcella a hug. I wish you all a wonderful weekend !
